Who on the brand side has to run a Roblox project?

One named owner, a decision-maker who can approve creative in a week, and someone who will still be there in month four. The roles a brand needs to staff before the build starts.

Studios quote for the work they do. The work that stays on the brand’s side gets staffed late, and that is where schedules slip.

The owner

One person accountable for the outcome, with the authority to make calls that cost money. Projects owned by a committee stall at the first such decision.

They do not need to know Roblox. They need to know what the project is for and be able to say no.

The approver

Whoever signs off creative. The critical number is turnaround: a studio plans sprints around your approval time, and a two-week pass on every asset stretches a twelve-week build by a month.

Agree the pass length up front and stick to it. Approving creative for a world covers what to look at in each round.

Named at kick-off, briefed once, and available for the specific reviews: platform rules, category restrictions, rights on music and typefaces, data if the world captures any.

Bringing legal in at the end is the most common cause of a rebuilt launch.

The data owner

Someone who receives the numbers and does something with them. If the world writes into a CRM or loyalty programme, this person owns the integration on your side.

The month-four owner

Live-ops needs a person. A world with no one on the brand side after launch week fades in public, whatever the studio’s cadence.

Frequently this is the same person as the owner. Say so explicitly, because “we’ll work that out after launch” reliably means nobody.

The internal communicator

Someone who explains the project to the rest of the business — sales, retail, customer service — so a live world does not surprise the people who will be asked about it.

What a workable structure looks like

An owner who is also the month-four owner. An approver with a fixed turnaround. Legal and data as named contacts on call. That is four names, two of them part-time, and it is enough to keep a project on schedule.

What we do about it

A Roblox marketing agency that ships worlds, not decks

Most agencies sell you a Roblox strategy and hand the build to someone else. We do both, and we are judged on the same number you are: how many people showed up and how long they stayed.
