Roblox for brands in Thailand: a mobile-first market and the festivals that fit
Thailand is a mobile-first, festival-heavy market where young players already spend hours on Roblox. Where a branded world fits, which moments to build around, and what it costs.
Thailand rewards brands that show up where young people already are, and a lot of them are on Roblox. Asia-Pacific is the platform’s largest and fastest-growing region, and it runs mobile-first: roughly seven in ten Roblox sessions happen on a phone, which is exactly how Thai teenagers play. A brand that wants this audience does not need to invent a new habit. It needs to arrive as something worth opening.
Why a world beats a banner
The Thai media plan struggles with the same people every other market loses: young players who skip pre-roll and ignore display. A branded world flips the deal. Instead of paying for a glance, you build a place people choose to enter and stay inside for minutes. We judge those worlds on two numbers, player visits and average session time, because a place people spend real time in is worth more than a cheap impression nobody watched.
The festival calendar is your content calendar
Thailand runs on public celebration, and each big moment is a ready-made hook for a world:
- Songkran (April). The New Year water festival, all splashing and street play. The most natural reward loop on the calendar, and social by design.
- Loy Krathong (November). Candlelit baskets floated on water, and in Chiang Mai the Yi Peng sky-lantern release. A quieter, gorgeous world built around floating a krathong and making a wish, easy to skin for a brand.
- Everyday fandom. Between festivals, Thai players follow K-pop, anime, football and local creators. A world does not have to wait for a holiday to matter.
Design for the moment your audience already cares about and you borrow its attention instead of buying it.
What it costs to find out
- Pilot: $5,000 to $20,000. One mechanic tied to one moment, built to test whether Thai players show up and stay. You get a working world, a concept, and a clean read in four to six weeks.
- Full world: $30,000 to $250,000. A custom build with multiple zones, backend integration to a loyalty or promo system, and live-ops so it reopens each season instead of fading after launch.
We have not shipped a Thai flagship yet, so we would not pretend to quote you a local case result. What we can bring is a loop that works, proven on worlds like Lenta’s 1.6M-visit programme and our own games that run tens of millions of visits at 20 to 40 minute sessions, adapted to a Thai moment and measured honestly from day one.
Want to test Roblox in Thailand before you commit? Start a pilot and we will pick the moment and the mechanic with you.

A Roblox marketing agency that ships worlds, not decks
Most agencies sell you a Roblox strategy and hand the build to someone else. We do both, and we are judged on the same number you are: how many people showed up and how long they stayed.
