Roblox for brands in Vietnam: a young, mobile-first market and the moments that fit
Vietnam is young, mobile-first and fast-growing on Roblox. Where a branded world fits, which cultural moments to build around, and what a project costs.
Vietnam is one of the youngest, most mobile-first markets in Southeast Asia, and its teenagers are online the way brands wish their customers were. Asia-Pacific is Roblox’s largest and fastest-growing region, and about seven in ten Roblox sessions happen on a phone, which matches how young Vietnamese play. A brand that wants that attention does not need to teach a new behaviour. It needs to arrive as something worth playing.
Why a world beats an ad
Vietnamese Gen Z blocks, skips and scrolls past the same interruptive formats every other market’s young audience does. A branded world changes the transaction. Rather than renting a second of a glance, you build a place people choose to enter and stay in for minutes, then bring friends into for free. We grade those worlds on player visits and average session time, because time chosen beats an impression served.
The cultural calendar is your content calendar
Vietnam gives a brand a run of moments worth building around:
- Tết (Lunar New Year). The emotional centre of the year: reunion, lì xì lucky envelopes, blossom and kumquat. The strongest hook on the calendar, with a built-in daily return loop.
- Mid-Autumn, Tết Trung Thu. The children’s festival of star lanterns, lion dances and mooncakes. A bright, playful world made for younger players and the parents shopping for them.
- Everyday fandom. Between festivals, Vietnamese players follow football, K-pop, mobile games and local streamers. A world can matter any month of the year.
Build for a moment the audience already cares about and you borrow its attention instead of paying for it.
What it costs to find out
- Pilot: $5,000 to $20,000. One mechanic tied to one moment, built to test whether Vietnamese players show up and stay. A working world, a concept and a clean read in four to six weeks.
- Full world: $30,000 to $250,000. Multiple zones, backend integration to a promo or loyalty system, and live-ops so the world reopens each season.
We have not shipped a Vietnamese flagship yet, so we will not invent a local case number. What we bring is a loop proven elsewhere, Lenta’s 1.6M-visit programme and our own games running tens of millions of visits at 20 to 40 minute sessions, adapted to a Vietnamese moment and measured honestly from the first day.
Want to test Roblox in Vietnam before you commit? Start a pilot and we will choose the moment and the mechanic with you.

A Roblox marketing agency that ships worlds, not decks
Most agencies sell you a Roblox strategy and hand the build to someone else. We do both, and we are judged on the same number you are: how many people showed up and how long they stayed.
