Foxford School on Roblox: a lead-generation teardown
How an online school collected leads inside Roblox — an obby built on school-curriculum questions, a phone-and-email form, and what the world's public counters show.
Foxford is an online school that needs course applications. Its customers are schoolchildren; so is the Roblox audience. Here is how we connected the two and which numbers are open to inspection.
The mechanic
An obby with 20 levels. To clear a level, the player answers a school-curriculum question. Four levels use the format of Russia’s state exams. Foxford courses surface naturally: the player hits a topic they are shaky on, and the offer to fix that sits right there.
Daily bonuses and challenges drive return visits. To enter the prize draw and receive a battle pass, the player leaves a phone number and an email.
That last sentence is the whole construction: the game became a form for collecting applications with a reason for the player to fill it in.
The public numbers
As of 24 August 2026 the experience page shows 504,976 visits and 75,640 favourites. Both counters are visible to anyone who opens it.
The favourites-to-visits ratio here is about 15%. For comparison, a tournament format where a player arrives once for a prize scores a fraction of a percent. The difference sits in the mechanic — daily bonuses give a reason to come back, and players do.
How an in-game lead form actually works
The rule worth keeping: a form works when something the player wants right now sits behind it. A battle pass and a draw entry are an understandable price for a contact. A form reading “leave your email to hear about our courses” would collect almost nothing in the same spot.
The second rule is timing. The form appears after the player has invested time and wants to continue, never at the entrance.
The legal part people skip
You are collecting contact details from minors. That is a conversation with lawyers before development starts, not after launch. Consent wording, age handling, storage — all of it belongs in the brief.
What transfers to other projects
A game works as a lead channel under three conditions: the mechanic connects to the product in meaning, the contact buys something valuable inside the game, and there is a reason to return tomorrow.
Drop the third and you get a spike of applications in week one and an empty world in week two. Drop the first and you collect contacts from people your product does not fit.
Roblox brand activations that outlive the campaign flight
The usual activation goes live, spikes for a week, and is a dead server by the time the wrap deck is circulated. That is a design failure, not a platform limit — and it is avoidable.
